    I do crossfit because it rocks! I was one of those people getting stuck in a rut and not feeling fullfilled with my workouts. Crossfit is challenging, it is fun, and there are good people to hangout with. I love the fact that people stay after their workouts to cheer on the next class. There is a good community here, I couldn’t imagine going any where else.

    I started vCf to help me condition for martial arts and it did that but what I didn’t know is how much I would enjoy the family like atmosphere at VCF. I love the daily record board to help me set my goals, I like that Phill says he’ll ” hit me with PVC pipe” if I stop. VCF has helped my golf drive (that’s important Vance) but most of all I Crossfit to be in the best shape of my life:) tear… See u Monday

      I’m with Justus about the golf part. I shocked the heck out of myself by dropping 10 pounds and adding 30 yards to my golf swing on every club. It’s weird being 80-90 yards from the hole and reaching for a sand wedge. I’ve also noticed my balance and coordination is better which I can only attribute to the 8 months of solid crossfit.

    I started Crossfit so I could get in shape to be a firefighter. It is a lot more than that now though. Crossfit is easily one of the most important parts of my day, my day is just not complete without it. VCF also has some of the best people and trainers. Also Crossfit helped me be able to complete my first Triathlon sprint this past weekend in St. George.

    I do it because I am a cool kid, so I guess by default, I SHOULD be doing it.

    I also do it for the voice that tells me I’m not skinny enough, not fast enough, and not good enough. The more I CF, the quieter that voice gets, and THAT, my friends, is a killer feeling.

    I CrossFit so that when I start interviewing for firefighter jobs I can hopefully beat all the boys in the physical test. Booyah!

    I keep doing it cuz the hubby’s likin’ the view if ya know what I mean! Seriously though, it’s the only fitness program I’ve tried that actually works and believe me I’ve tried everything! I love the variety and how you guys push us beyond what we think we can do. It’s worth every penny!!!

    Who would have thought you can get sore from lifting a PVC pipe?!?! The Olympic Lifting Certification that I went to this weekend was AWESOME! I went in with the instructors pretty much shaking their head when they first saw my snatch and went out with much better form and compliments from Josh Everett.

    It was weird to do pretty much the entire training with just a PVC pipe. But I learned a lot and hope to get to pass some of it on to you guys.

    That is once I can move my shoulders. To think, just a PVC pipe.
